                                   The Unquiet
                                  Jeannine Garsee

I've recently finished the book The Unquiet by Jeannine Garsee.                      The main character,  Rinn Jacobs moves to a new school, but finds out the haunting story of Annaliese. Soon as her and her friends continuously enter the tunnel, strange things happen, and they won't stop until Annaliese gets what she's been waiting for.

I thought this book was just...okay. The Unquiet always kept you guessing, but it always took a long time to get to the point. By the end, I was just glad to finally finish the book. The overall theme of this story was to be a good person not a bully, and to treat people the way you want to be treated. The best character- in my opinion- was Rinn. You see her transformation from a bad girl to a young adult trying to right the wrongs of Annaliese's enemies. The Author, Jeannine Garsee, was inspired to write this book, because when she was younger, her school had a "haunted" tunnel that was much like the one described in this book. Except the rumors spread about the girl who supposedly died there weren't quite as true.

"Sometimes when I dream, the deadliest moment in my life happens all over again. That’s when I’m given the chance to do things differently."
This quote reflects on some of the terrible descions made by Rinn in her life. But she's saying that dreams of these bad choices, and replays them the way they should have gone.
