Blog Post 3

The name of the book I am reading is called Fallout written by Ellen Hopkins. I have read the whole book (662 pages). Basically the summary of what happened is that all of Kristina's children found out about each other and ended up meeting. I think the book was okay but it wasn't as interesting as I wish it would've been.  The author wrote this book as a continuation to the series based off of her daughter; she wrote it to tell people about how dramatic it can be finding out you have other siblings you never knew about and meeting them. The theme is about how surprising and overwhelming it is finding out you have brothers and sisters that have been kept secret from you for as long as you can remember. Mrs. Hopkins wanted us to think about what that would feel like. In my opinion Hunter was the best character. He made mistakes but he fixed them the best he could and over all it felt like I could visualize and connect to him more than any other character. " Labels. Hate 'em. Mostly, I guess, because I've worn one or another pretty much forever." That is the quote I chose from my book; I chose it because I think a lot of people can agree with the quote and see it in their own life. I have only one question about my book and that would be what happens after the Christmas dinner but I guess I just have to wait till the next book comes out.
