Ready Player One Pachow part 3

Ready Player One By Earnest Cline Part 3 (book done)
With the key now in Parzival's possession he now has the riddle too. "Continue your test by taking the test". With the rampage of IOI getting the Jade Key they managed to kill Daito in OASIS... And real life. Parzival could not find out what the riddle was. Instead IOI managed to get to the second gate and clear it. With Parzival wasting his real money on OASIS equipment we is now in dept, but not just to anybody, but to IOI. In the meantime Parzival has also figured out what the riddle means. Parzival Scans the key and discovers that he must beat "Blade Runner" one of Halliday's favorite games. Instead of the two dimension version of the game it was remastered to be a three dimensional version of the game. Parzival barely defeats the game with one life to spare. He got the Crystal Key and he emails it Aech, Art3mis, and Shoto. The crystal key tells him he needs to got to Castle Anorak and unlock it with the crystal key there, but you can't just unlock it you need to find out what the riddle means first. The riddle is "The third key is clearest crystal and cannot be unlocked alone", but before Parzival can celebrate IOI breaks into his apartment. He quickly self destructs his OASIS console before they could find out he is Parzival. They take him into the workplace and force him to work there to pay off his dept. Doing some hacking at "his bedtime" he found some files about Aech, Art3mis, and Shoto. He finds out the Sorrento (head of getting the three keys) has a plan of killing Art3mis and Shoto the next day. He uploads this data onto a three terabyte USB, and somehow manages to escape the building. Desperate to get on OASIS he finds a internet cafe and goes in. He logs onto his OASIS account and Aech, Art3mis, and Shoto all log into their base. He tells the guys to get out of dodge, but they don't know how. Ogden Morrow (Hallidays Co-worker) who has been spying on them comes up with an idea. He tells them that he his sending private jets to them to pick them up and take them to his mansion. Before hand Parzival emails every single OASIS user the files on how IOI was going to kill them and tells them to join him in the final fight. They gladly oblige. With a new sense of confidence the private jet picks him up and he is feeling pretty good. When he gets there he goes straight to his OASIS console and logs in. He sees that almost half of OASIS users are there to help fight IOI with him. After an epic battle Shoto is defeated, but Parzival, Aech, and Art3mis are still alive. They open the door by singing one of the Schoolhouse Rock songs that has to do with three, but when the open the door the Catalyst (a artifact that wipes out everything on one planet) is activated. Lucky for Parzival while he was depressed he played a perfect game of Pac Man and earned an extra life. Parzival finds himself in another '80s movie and game that he beats. Parzival has now cleared all three gates. A simulation shows up of Halliday give Parzival invincibility and his billion dollars. Parzival logs out of OASIS and gets to meet Art3mis and the others in person. Parzival goes up to Art3mis and talks to her. They fall and love and finally Parzival has found the thing he has been looking for... Happiness. This book was fantastic honestly a random junior came up to me and said "read this". So taking his advice I read it, and all I have to say is wow... Just wow. AMAZING! When I grow up I want to be a computer software engineer and this will certainly make me think about things and I sure hope it makes some other "computer geeks" think about things too! Parzival at the end of this story followed the theme to never give up and to pursue your dreams. He has matured to a point of adulthood and he is now a worthy adult. He has never given up after IOI taking him, Art3mis breaking up with him, and so much more. A cool quote is "It occured to me that for the first time in as long as I could remember, I had absolutely no desire to log back on to OASIS". This is a cool quote because it showed how much he has matured and found his happiness. Im Cameron Pachow and thanks for reading my blog!
